What kind of people does 7-Eleven like to hire?
Top Employee Response
Minorities that they are scared to fire because of potential lawsuits. It’s truly embarrassing to work with these folks who have no customer service skills whatsoever. And think they’re above doing their jobs, so it falls on the couple of workers on other shifts to pick up the slack.
White. Heterosexual. Just like a SLURPEE “diversity and inclusion” is a recent “flavor of the month” initiative... like anything else, it will fade away when it’s no longer big news in the media and the leadership team feels like they don’t have to go thru the motions of pretending like they care. On the upside, it is a good place for veterans.

How's the morale at 7-Eleven?
Non-existent. Company is always trying to reinvent its organizational culture but never gets it worse each time. The company’s “7 Leadership Principles” are merely lip service... especially “Do The Right Thing”... that’s the one the C-suite rarely (if ever) demonstrates. Little room for career growth if you aren’t white and heterosexual.

Tiny cubes with low walls. No privacy. Not sure how this will change post-COVID upon return to office.
