I feel like we're entering into a new era of Asurion with the same people, tactics and ideas.

Hearing instead of talking or listening for what they want to hear. They could have more balls and less no's. Put your money where your mouth is.

Leadership is great at asking for things, asking for MORE even. But they're not great at giving us the tools, talent, or direction we need to achieve the ask(s).

Woof. Don't ever tell a potential employee this, but: unlimited paid vacation. If you tell a potential employee that it translates as "you need unlimited days off to work here." You should say the people. The people are great.

I think Asurion is experiencing growing pains. We're trying to do too much ourselves. There are agencies, consultants, software and other types of offerings that can help with things like marketing, search optimization, legal services and more. The answer isn't always a shoestring, tape, and a body.

The teams here are like onions. You keep peeling away the larger groups and you get to your core team. I'm commenting only on that core team. This does not apply to the layers. The best thing about them is their passion. It's hard to be passionate about what's basically an extended warranty on tech.
