Bell produces good and generally safe products due to the care and technical capability of the individuals involved, but this is in spite of the safety and requirements processes (or lack thereof). Bell is one of the largest companies I have seen with a small # of high quality development standards

Bell employees are highly competent, teamwork focused, and motivated to produce a quality product. When you have good people, it makes working so much easier.

Promotion is incredibly slow and so is pay in both general and specialty areas, which are not sufficiently competitive with the industry as it changes quickly due to inflation, talent wars, etc. and both Bell and Textron do not appropriately account for non-Salary :profit sharing, sign-on bonuses...
