Bell Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Their ability for leadership to help prioritize the ability to battle fires in a professional manner with streamlined coordination and communication. Their leadership is key to bringing the team together and knocking out the issue quickly and efficiently.

Review from Engineering Dept

Compassionate leadership exists throughout Bell. The management at Bell will work with you as if you are a long term investment person. We all experience personal or family issues that need to be addressed. Bell is excellent in this regard.

Review from Engineering Dept

No positives to say currently.

Review from Operations Dept

they listen to the workers about their needs and wants and try to fulfill them. Sometimes they get it right.

Review from Product Dept

Seems to be a little more interest coming from the office lately.

Review from Admin Dept

Clarity of purpose and intent (from my EVP)

Review from Engineering Dept

The access to leadership is unparalleled. They know you by name and care about your career.

Review from Finance Dept

they are engaged with employees.

Review from Engineering Dept

Down to earth and not robotic.

Review from Engineering Dept

they give out alot of information and have vision

Review from HR Dept

The leadership is committed to developing and delivering innovative solutions to our customer's needs.

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency is very much appreciated. That is the biggest change that I have seen over the years.

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency and willingness to take on the hard conversations

Review from Operations Dept

Open to discuss issues and problems.

Review from Product Dept

They listen to you. They seem to care about you personally, not only professionally.

Review from Sales Dept

They have a clear vision of where Bell is and where we're going.

Review from Engineering Dept

Communications are strong and often

Review from Operations Dept

Clear communication and have the employees included.

Review from Engineering Dept

The leadership at Bell effectively communicates their goals and gets the team excited to help achieve them.

Review from Operations Dept

Good communication, works well with us.

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND EQUAL ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ALL

Review from Product Dept

Caring about the employees. Fire exits doors hard or can't open. The clean rooms are dirty. Leadership more worried about parking closer than their employees and disabled. Taking away bbut that transport disabled down a 6-tier step to get into the building.

Review from Product Dept

Get back to the fundamentals of warfighter focus, quality products, and filling positions with the right people for the job rather than trying to compile metrics that appease the current woke cause du jour.

Review from Engineering Dept

The leadership team largely changed in 2023 and it feels like there is a different culture at Bell now. Listening to those with less empowered voices should be worked on.

Review from Finance Dept

Aligning the company with the market as it is, vice how the company would like it to be. Bell is working as a legacy aircraft manufacturer but is competing in a much more dynamic market than previous years.

Review from Sales Dept

communicate batter do what say

Review from Product Dept

Having a coherent, unified vision & strategy for the entire company. Executive leadership fixates on the latest shiny object, and lower leadership moves in all directions at once because there is no clear objective or guidance. Time is predominantly spent fighting fires

Review from Business Development Dept

Bell either needs to offer a lot more money or do hybrid schedules. There's no incentive to stay at Bell, especially now that all of the talent is leaving and my job now takes twice as long to complete. Competitors all offer more money and work from home, offer at least one of those.

Review from Legal Dept

Treating 2nd shift like 1st shift

Review from Product Dept

Better communication with team. Show they really care about retaining employees.

Review from Legal Dept

Leadership needs to better empower employees for making their own decisions, train employees for roles they expect them to fulfill, and overall give better guidance to employees.

Review from Engineering Dept

I wish the ELT were more present and seen.

Review from HR Dept

Treat employee as if they were the customer

Review from Product Dept

stand up to the employees that don't contribute.

Review from Operations Dept

Focusing less on numbers and more on the team they employee. Mandatory overtime is killing the morale at Piney Flats TN, Strikes and Unions have been mentioned. Something needs to be done to prevent that. Wages are still too low to support rising inflation and cost of living.

Review from Operations Dept

Share more ideas on what process improvements are being considered to improve production and reduce 12hr work days.

Review from Operations Dept

allowing people to move into other areas when they apply & not get turned down by a recruiter who doesnt know anything about the employee or know anything about the job they are applying for. For example being turned down for a structure job in another area and the mechanic has 13 yr + experience in

Review from Product Dept

get more involved with production and listen

Review from Customer Support Dept

Create a strategic plan benefiting all investing in the company and not just a few people or departments. After making firm decisions about the plan, stick with it, hold each other accountable, and communicate the vision and performance of each department to all employees.

Review from IT Dept

Understand what are the important elements of work life that matter to their employees.
