Upper management needs to show more appreciation, interaction with staff, not just showing and talking negative performance reviews. The staff will not perform up to their standards or chewy standards.
Negative talk only, no positive, management only cares about NUMBERS, not SAFETY. As a lead, I ran a crew and had no issues with staff performing and making numbers without hounding them. I always gave positive results. I also treated the staff to lunches once a month for their performance.
