Hiring competent team leads preferably from inside the company. My current supervisor is newer than I am and cancels most huddles and I have yet to have a 1 on 1 been on the team for over a month.

The culture was never mature or healthy, however it made a drastic downward spiral when customer service was moved out of the corporate building. We were left with the VP of Customer Service and no one overseeing her. HR reported to her too which helped conceal the way she mistreated the employees.

Chewy pays less than most warehouses do. Benefits are only offered to Full Time employees. No extra compensation provided for more strenuous positions. This means I can do a more strenuous position and get paid the same rate as someone who does less work. No incentive to take on harder positions.

Not everyone works equally. Alot of younger people which means lots of drama. Several occasions of couples working together and bringing personal issues to work which can be very disruptive.
