Positive experience overall. I just fear burnout.

My overall experience has not been a positive one. Everything is chaotic and always is. People at the top make decisions that affect people at the bottom and don't bat an eye. Work life balance is non existent. My stress level is through the roof. Sadly I don't see anything improving either.

My overall experience has been a positive one. I have yet to come across a company that is perfect but IH listens to the collective voice of employees and tries and often succeeds at implementing change. I am excited to see my career grow at IH.

Everyone is really nice and friendly!

Better training on what other departments do and how their role affects others.

My leadership team treats me like a person and not just an employee. I feel like they really do care.

The most positive thing is the fact that we volunteer and we get paid to do so. It's a win-win.

Everyone is approachable and very friendly! We're like a family and we crack each other up when needed and support each other always.

Leadership is approachable and very friendly. They also welcome new ideas and opinions that will benefit the business as well as benefit work culture.

We operate like a family. We band together when needed. We also have a lot of fun time with planned events, and often we get impromptu breakfast or lunch at the office.

Chaos! Being pulled in a million different directions at any given moment. I think processes need to be specified and streamlined. Everyone needs to be on the same page and know their role and how their role affects others.

Senior leadership invited an open conversation regarding compensation. This conversation was a positive one and I believe and feel very confident that I will be compensated fairly for my contributions and efforts to the company. They want to get it right!

The company is all about how much money they can get from consumers. We nickel and dime residents and do not offer quality in return which should not fall on RTM or anyone in a customer facing position, but it does. Capitalism at it's finest.

Stressful and most things are out of our control. The industry itself is stressful so not much we can do there but I firmly believe that introducing 4 day work weeks (rotating so the business is not affected) would provide more mental bandwidth for employees and improve work-life balance.

Invitation Homes could be a POSITIVE pioneer in the industry if they actually viewed people as people and not view people as money. People are struggling and we could care less. We keep raising rents, adding on more ancillary fees, and offering less regards to quality of homes, maintenance, etc..

Qu’est-ce que vos collègues doivent améliorer et comment pouvez-vous mieux travailler ensemble?

In my department, a lot of people were hired due to friendships and favoritism, not actual skill and competency. Add to that, the fact that Invitation Homes doesn't actually train people for the job. They offer a very high level training and then push you out to see if you'll sink or swim.

There is a lot more to the position than ever discussed. A lot of duties that have nothing to do with my actual role but necessary to get the job done as other departments do not work under the same timelines. So my days are extremely chaotic which is causing a lot of extra stress.

Pourquoi vous sentez-vous sous-évalué et qu’est-ce qui vous rassurerait par rapport à votre rémunération?

I am in a leadership position and many of my direct reports make the same if not more than I do. Also, the company as a whole needs to re-evaluate the pay structure given recent inflation. The cost of everything is out of control and I cant afford to live with the salary I am paid.
