I feel that one's employment experience is tied to their direct leadership. Unfortunately my division is poorly led and we suffer for it. I feel stressed, unsure, and worried about my work environment daily, which causes me a great deal of distress. I have hope one day, perhaps, this will change.

In my day-to-day position I know that I am providing a valuable service to the institution. Outside of that I don't know that I feel the institution has a culture when it comes to staff.

Hiring competent division leaders. Listening to (and caring about) employee concerns. Offering proactive solutions for demoralized and understaffed divisions. Offer clear paths for promotion and raises. Making employees feel valued. Current employee messaging is hugely tone-deaf.

We get the work done despite being understaffed, not listened to or valued by our direct leadership, and not having the budget we should. Our leadership is petty, chaotic, and self-interested. Our managers are the real leaders. We are a tightly knit group because of it. We do a lot with very little.
Pourquoi vous sentez-vous sous-évalué et qu’est-ce qui vous rassurerait par rapport à votre rémunération?
We have had no raises for years. Mid-range employee salaries are low. Jobs are cut, leaving us doing the work of 2-3 people for the same pay. Crowing about benefits we never use instead of just paying us more is, frankly, insulting. Give us back our sick time payouts. T-shirts do not pay the rent.
