I love what I do and the people I work with. Everyone works hard so there is no bitterness about working more than my peers or my supervisor. No one works harder than my VP. She is the epitome of dedication, passion and drive.

It is difficult to get pay increases once you are hired, beyond a 2% merit increase that comes each year. That makes it hard to meet the increased cost of living. It is no secret that employees aren't expected to ever reach the maximum salary for the position, and raises are infrequent.
