I think there needs to be a level-set for employees who have been in a role or band for a while compared to what new hires are getting at the same level.

Salary bands were recently adjusted so that new hires coming in at Manager level are making almost as much as Sr. Managers with several years of experience. We need to adjust current employees so that wages are competitive with peers in the market place.
