When I first joined Barracuda was building hardware products with slow and long dev cycles. The move to SaaS made work faster, but also enabled teams to work too independently causing inefficiencies. Now we're trying to break down barriers and silos, but people like the easy work so it will be hard.

My team is highly collaborative and works comfortably in a cross-team capacity. Everyone is at different places in their career, but are supportive and driven to succeed as a team on the behalf of our customers.

I fully recognize that compensation can't always be adjusted, but if the question before was "Do you feel you are under compensated" then the answer is still yes in comparison to people with comparable skill sets and experience. I am comfortable encouraging additional pay for my team ahead of me.
