Seeing quality work being done, working with great people, and accomplishing cool things together. Working with people who are excited about things and work collaboratively together to deliver amazing results. The focus on culture. All great things about working at Alkami.

Most Alkamists are reall good people, and a pleasure to work with. That's what makes it jarring when occasionally running into people who don't have that team mindset. Ensuring we are hiring people who are a good fit for the culture would be a great step to take.

The work is fast-paced, which means a huge focus on results first. While this is important, long hours + fast pace = burnout. When managers work 10+ hours either the employees do the same, or they are seen as not carrying their load. Managers should lead by example by working normal hours.
