From day 1 people are approachable and the work is engaging. Working from home allows me to deliver great work and traveling every few months allows for closer coworker connections. This is a great place to work, the problems are solvable, and we are maturing the company as it grows every quarter.

It used to feel like a once in a lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately once the technology group changed, the culture shifted to a race to the bottom. I think we still have good bones and good people, but the way we’re operating and the powers that be need to address this and make the right change

Comparing to other organizations and the amount of "boomerang" employees who end up coming back, I continue to find that it's one of the most challenging and rewarding places to be employed and I'm grateful for the opportunity over the years.

The politics and lack of alignment at the leadership level make it harder to get things done and not enjoyable some days. Folks that have been here longer than me are jaded and bitter about the positive changes trying to get pushed through, which can kill moral.

The CEO is the gold star. He is customer focused and clear on his intentions for our organization. They rest seem to be playing politics/game of thrones instead of aligning on initiatives together.

Meaning what they say and saying what they mean. There's a culture of lip service to get people to quit asking the tough questions. There's no leadership follow through or fight for their employees. Leaders are too busy to lead. 1x1s dont exist, feedback doesnt exist, careers basically dont exist.

Demonstrate leadership and support employees living in states that are losing their rights. Other companies have been vocal about assisting their people financially to move to safer states or travel to receive healthcare. Given the tenor from ETL up to now, I'm not optimistic.

Salary and stock are the best parts of the comp package. And while the retirement match isn't good, the flexibility to do what you want inside the retirement plan is good.

Low Raises, slow promotions seem to have become common place. We no longer get RSUs, that would help compensate some of the slower pace.

Fair promotions, timely promotions. Salary that met whats happening in the market and is reflective of your value to the company. Some people get paid A LOT of money to do a lot less, and some get paid a lot of money (and promotions) because they have friends in the places to give them opportunity.

Despite really putting in effort to achieving the goals put forth by the team, raises and promotions are hard to get. The leadership team also keeps changing priorities and pushes them to the teams derailing from consistent progress against one goal.

When I compare my compensation across many platforms I an underpaid for my salary and bonus. As an employee who constantly surpasses goals and adds value to the team I would expect to be paid more.

I always hear "Culture eats strategy for breakfast". Well we've created a culture of nepotism, and bureaucracy that flows through only one part of the organization. What they say goes, and there's no real authority in any of the other roles. Its a sit down and shut up....and like it, culture.

Culture, the turnover, the "do what I say, not what I do" leadership. The constant backstabbing, clique, gaslighting from a particular vertical. The employees keeping this company running are getting left behind without care. Take care of and value your employees, or you wont have one left to lead.
