Many people seem motivated by the idea that our work matters. Even though we ourselves are not healthcare professionals, we are enabling healthcare professionals to do their jobs and save lives and I think people feel good about being connected to that kind of mission.
People have different strengths and are willing to share their insights and expertise. Our team is truly collaborative and people really care about each other. For example, one team member was experiencing a challenging time, and we fairly spontaneously collected money for an UberEats gift card.
