5 fantastic years with my coworkers/friends. I had 5 traumatic years with rude guests, homeless men terrorizing the cafe, a corporate office that would do anything they could to never leave the sanctuary of their office. The company is more reactive to the social climate than proactive. A shame.

Turnover improvement may not be an imperative task driving the company to do right by their employees, but it's the priority that's keeping employees from trusting their corporate superiors. The disconnect is palpable from both an employee and a customer perspective.

After Schultz stepped down, employees were not communicated to from corporate any more and marketing tactics became schemes fishing for more business without allowing proper labor hours to complete business tasks. One the side of social politics, they are a reactive company instead of proactive.
