The occasional nice customer, and the occasional nice chat with a staff member that you may actually like
That it was fast and easy to get a job with them because they were desprate for staff
Paying staff according to the hours worked and allocating staff appropriately such that overtime and skipped breaks is not required
20% staff discount is ridiculously low, not even a free 6" for every 8 hours worked, it's legitimately profiting on the fact that staff gotta eat sometimes, not even allowed to eat the broken cookies that we are not allowed to sell, required to either buy them or throw them away
