I've had coworkers in the past who had no desire to work at all. My current team is all experienced and hard-working, and most of them are kind and mature.

There is definitely an attitude of trying to improve everyone's day- the customers and employees. We have fun music, interesting conversations and make delicious food all day. There are some less fun aspects of course, but it's overall very positive.

The fact that I'm making money is obviously what makes me most happy at work. But I also really enjoy the feeling of accomplishing something I'm good at, I love meeting new customers, and I enjoy the company of most of my coworkers.

I understand that fast food jobs can only afford to pay minimum wage off the bat. It's an entry level job and it's usually not difficult. However, it would be nice if they implemented a small pay increase (maybe 25 cents per year, the first 20 years) to high-performing employees.

I have to say that I like the interview process because it was brief and it got me my first job when I was young and had no experience. However, my online application was never responded to and I had to personally visit the store several times to get the managers to remember me.

The leadership team needs to try harder to meet the needs of their employees. Many of my coworkers have expenses that make them want to work full time or at least 30 hours a week, but my stores have always kept so many people on staff that no one gets hardly any hours except management.
