  • Leadership is very removed from the line level worker and doesn't have a reality check on how things are really working. They do annual employee surveys but very little actually changes.

  • Slim down the middle-management sector. There are many people who are collecting a paycheck simply for existing (and provide little to no value)

  • Background Check, possibly check employment references for past employers, 1 personal reference, No drug test if working from home.

  • When I was hired in 2000 it was very minimal. They checked my resume and work ethic. Now that we are in 2019 it is more extensive, and yes they do do a background check.

  • The CEO jets in once a year. There is a town hall meeting saying how well the company is doing. Other than that there is no contact. He makes millions while we barely are paid a living wage. As for raises, 3% is the highest anyone gets. I work for the insurance.
