Needs to better recognize the talent, capabilities, and past experience available within current workforce. Leadership team heavily favors lifelong GE Vernova employees over those who began careers elsewhere.
Generally poor first level management. Inadequate strategies for engaging with employees better. Better training and leadership expectations for management would improve the situation. Also, executive leadership needs to be more strongly developed.
Company undervalues experience gained prior to working at GE Vernova. HR policies disincentivize merit increases for highly experienced employees in order to prioritize much larger merit increases for new hires. Cost of health insurance is much higher for employees with higher salaries.
Work from office / work from home policies are highly varied. Far more employees than office spaces, thus many employees work from home. Workforce is globally disperse thus making coworker interaction much more difficult. None of my coworkers live/work in my own regional area.
