MB is filled with execs who are completely disconnected from lower level employees' thoughts and feelings. The GM of FESCO is rude, and most of the managers just try to please him at the expense of their teams. Also, our raises were an absolute joke
Interacting with my coworkers and team lead.
They are honest, helpful, and kind.
My coworkers are funny and kind and authentic.
Unlimited vacation and working remotely is the best part of my compensation.
My coworkers are the best part. They work hard to love on one another
They are like-minded, kind, and many are Christians like me. They always operate on a "we" level, not "me".
The vacation policy is what keeps many people here. Having unlimited PTO (feeling like we can take breaks) is encouraging.
Focus on developing a quality product and take care of your employees. Stop trying to please your investor(s) at the expense of everyone else.
Benefits (health) are actually terrible, and there isn't a clear directive/path to make more money within the company. Leaders don't invest in us. That's why so many of us talk openly about trying to find other employment.
The executives need to listen to what developers are telling them is possible and not. When dev doesn't have the resources to accomplish a goal, all of our teams suffer (especially customer service). Invest in a QUALITY product, not just strive to cut corners to make the most money.
