We all laugh about the struggle together.
They can be sassy but sometimes its funny.
Hearing from the regular customers (who are nice; not the mean ones).
We give compliments/positive reinforcement (good job, you're doing great, thanks for helping, etc) and joke around together.
There is a "we're all in this together" vibe, where only we understand what we are going through/care about.
As support, especially after unify, I am doing multiple jobs but being paid for only 1. My duties have increased significantly yet my pay has remained the exact same.
Leadership meaning my manager or theirs - nothing. I believe they are trying their best given the circumstances. Leadership meaning executives need to stay true to their word and ask for the input of those whose lives they are impacting. Unify has negatively disrupted so many day-to-day routines.
Support team just received 1.5-2% ANNUAL raises. They get ONE raise A YEAR and it was 2%. When the re-org happened, support picked up multiple tasks including carrying the weight of the entire client success team that was removed. Support is doing additional jobs without [proper] additional income.
My manager? She's a good person and a good manager. She cares about me both as an employee and as a human being. That stuff matters and boosts morale. When a procedure change happens, she knows we will be upset and she shares in our concerns instead of just nodding while we discuss.
The workload is nonstop and it makes it unbearable. Working hard is not the issue but it impacts work/life balance. We are losing Holidays, its so exhausting that I get off and have no energy to live life, I can't take a break during the day to breathe or think about at home life for a few minutes.
