I enjoy my role and wouldn't change it, I would however change the pay. About a year ago, the VIP/RM and Occupational Health teams were pulled from under me with the notion that I would have more time to dedicate to support. I am still acting manager for both and my pay doesn't reflect it.
I feel that I am underpaid and undervalued.
Reliability, accountability, willingness to pivot on a dime.
People's willingness to listen when needed.
Their ability to adapt to whatever is thrown at them.
Making up positions that aren't needed. We have a very top heavy company.
My team is always willing to jump in and go the extra mile for our clients without being asked twice.
With the job duties I currently have I feel that I am underpaid for what I take on. I would like to see my compensation become competitive with other people in my position in my area.
I have been the go to person at Shield for a little over a year and have taught myself 95% of what I do. I would like to be compensated for all that I do and all of the extra that I do without complaint.
Higher pay for all of the responsibilities that I currently have. I am an unspoken manager of a drug team as well as the RM team. I do not get to focus on "management" duties and I am still heavily involved in the day to day operation of multiple teams.
The main thing they could do is to understand what I do on a daily basis. I am on my 3rd director and not one of them has taken the time to sit with me to understand what my team does. I scheduled in meetings that consume my day including senior leadership meetings while other managers are not.
I would feel better if I were paid for all of the many hats I have to wear daily. I feel that I should have an office for the meetings that I am in where I am asked to provide feedback but am unable to verbally reply because I am in the middle of the floor with the rest of my team.
