I appreciate a bonus but sometimes the amount and basis for it seem arbitrary b/c it isn't measurable
I think the CEO is very positive and love her for that. And I love the flexibility of working from home. Day to day, this is a very difficult job - not b/c of the difficulty of the work but the pace and frequent changing of priorities. Very reactive, not proactive
- Development is done quick & dirty which means lots of Support - The Support needs are not planned for, well understood or communicated - Development resources work on both Development and Support - Support needs are dynamic and this is disruptive to Develpment - old processes can't keep up
I think they have great ideas about what our company should be striving for and plans to get there. But I don't think they are tuned in to what is going on "in the trenches". Evolving is great but it can't just be with tools or management - we need change in processes at the lowest levels up.
