Wonderful. I was very nervous about starting a new job because the grass isnt always greener, but it really is at Alkami! The warmth I was given even on my first day was a breath of fresh air and continues to be. Days and clients can be tough; but the Alkami team is the best.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I really enjoy working at Alkami and have never considered leaving. Alkami provides a lot of great things - work from home, flexibility, workload, collaborative environment. I do think that Alkami could be doing better with parting ways with people who aren't doing well, instead of hanging on.

Most of my teammates are willing to help.

The inclusiveness. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is helpful.

There is always room for improvement and I think our leadership knows that; they are constantly accepting feedback and making necessary changes to improve Alkami.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feeling of accomplishment. I feel like sometimes I feel like I am running a marathon, and it is so sweet when we cross that finish line!

I think that our leadership is all in; they truly care about how Alkami is doing, has a plan and is pushing to make each employee and Alkami great.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I feel well compensated for my role. I think improvements could be made for a 401k match to set up all Alkamists for success for retirement. I really appreciate the 12 weeks PAID maternity leave!
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishment. I really enjoy working towards a greater goal and seeing it through to the finish line. As much as it is a stressor, too, not doing the same thing every day and learning something new almost every day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I think our pay is good - is above others in our industry. Our 401 (k) match and health benefits are lacking. I understand that it is a cost for either the company or employee. It's just hard when health insurance for a family of 4 is over $600 a month.
