Overall I like it here a lot. Two things make me nervous.. 1. increased adoption of AI and not enough assurances from leadership team about what that means for future head count. (this is industry wide, obviously, but more communication is better) 2. Offshoring jobs with seemingly little benefit
Great virutal communication including team building events
Salary is decent and the benefits are solid
Still an engineering company here.. to a fault sometimes
Collaborating on a project .
I enjoy helping co-workers and solving problems for customers
Very smart and talented people across the entire org. Have been very impressed with my co-workers ..not only on my team, but across others
I love the people at Barracuda, outside even my team. It's what's kept me here. Just nice people to work with daily
I've only been at Barracuda for a couple of months but I've been very impressed by the executive team's transparency, consistent messaging on prioritization, and for surveys such as this, trying to get the pulse of the employees
I get regular raises, benefits are good, I really can't complain. Would love to see even more health insurance options.. For example more options for basically emergency only health (we see custom doctors if needed and pay out of pocket) at reduced costs
A lot of what the leadership team does is opaque to me as an employee. Aside from quarterly meetings, sko, etc which all seem a bit too formal for general employee visibility. Admittedly there are likely more meetings I could attend (owner's meeting, etc). But more frequent, informal updates
