I think the overall experience has been good. Barracuda gives people a shot and it's up to them on whether they succeed or not. The only bad is that it's hard to move up in the company - not a lot of internal growth and they seem to be really hiring outside the org now a days.

everyone is willing to go out of their way and help each other whenever needed.

People are friendly, which helps build strong bonds not just at work but outside as well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
It's like a big melting pot and everyone gets along. The company puts on team building events which helps break down employee's walls and interact across the entire company.

the team here is always willing to go out of their way to help even if they're not going to be compensated for it. This helps build friendships and ultimately makes the culture great at Barracuda.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We need more transparency. The day to day workers are kept in the dark for the most part. They don't get enough feed back from the employees that are doing the work day in and day out.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The AVG OTE for my position is higher at other companies. However, the comp plans do sometimes differ on the compensation split. We spend too much time doing post deal support and it takes a lot of selling time away.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I personally like the open door policy. I'm able to walk into an Execs office and have a career path conversation or sales strategy conversation anytime of the day. They're always willing to bounce ideas and assist in putting together a plan.
