The leadership team has not relayed a clear direction for the company to the rest of the org. Moreover, the leadership team does not actively coach or successfully succession plan, which fosters the current culture of "get my experience and leave" rather than work towards an internal promotion.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are underpaid compared to market value, & management is great at giving non answers about raises and your future at the company. Their model is to bring in cheap talent and not try to retain them, knowing they will leave for a better job. While fine in the short term, it's not sustainable.
