As a long-term employee (30+ years) I have held many positions and worked on many different programs and areas, mostly within engineering. This is one of the strong points within Bell. There is always opportunity to learn and grow within the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are all very approachable. Meaning we can talk to them like regular people, and they listen to our ideas.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Flexible Personal time. Being able to take care of chores during work hour without using up Vacation time which I reserve for fun days off.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all different. Different ages, backgrounds. We come from different areas of the US and the globe. Makes for interesting conversations when we hang out.
What makes you most happy at work?
Putting new ideas to work. In engineering we are called on to solve problems and do things better. Our ideas get put to work to accomplish this.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We operate like a small company. Meaning no matter which program or area you work in or assist with, you get to meet the area leaders quite frequently and they remember you. This is true across most disciplines as well. Engineering, Procurement, Production and Quality.
