I've been here 17 years out of that 17 I have been laid off for 4 of them. I do not like working in a union environment. I am convince that I would never had been laid off if employees were laid off based on their performance.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
On second shift we are able to work without too many interruptions, which allows us to get the job done.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I'm really not sure. I work second shift and haven't been able to meet the top leaders, so I really don't them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
On the second shift team we have a pretty good group of guys. However, our first shift team, that we pick-up from - not so much.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Every year my benefits go down in value but the price of the so called benefits go up in cost, while my pay isn't able to keep up with them.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I'm able to successfully meet the days expectations. Which would having the correct and complete paperwork and parts that I need to be successful. Doesn't happen as often as I'd like.
