I joined right out of college and have never thought about looking anywhere else. I work with meaningful products and with people who truly care about the outcomes. I feel like I have a reason to come to work everyday.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with aircraft. Mostly people don't actually get to see their products fly.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our executive leadership team has a willingness to look forward, but also emphasize our need to perform consistently with our existing customers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We don't dwell on failure or wallow in self pity, it's not a blame culture. Identify a problem, get a team to figure it out and move on.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The healthcare is comparable or better than other aerospace companies. The maternity leave being paid 100% for Long term and parental leave policies are things I emphasize when talking to college recruits.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Smaller size teams allow Bell to really forge lasting relationships so when teams inevitably grow and change those relationships are what allow us to keep lessons learned going and to allow us to personally help out co-workers.
