If I had been asked this question pre-Covid, I would have said that I love my job and this company. That I'm so proud of what we do to help our military and the world at large. But I have been so disappointed with the way we've handled the pandemic, that it's hard to say that any longer.
What are some of the best things about your team?
For the most part my team is collaborative and interacts well with one another.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Some of them see to want to help and protect our employees during this time. I appreciate their efforts.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have made many friends at work over the years I've been here. I know that some of them are lifelong.
What makes you most happy at work?
What we do as a group is exciting and ground breaking. It's fun to be a part of. But right now I can't even enjoy that because of the pandemic.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have had to do the job of 4 people for several years because we don't want to invest in more support staff. Adding more staff would be good, and would help me feel like I can actually be good at my job again. I could be proactive, instead of being forced to be reactive most of the time.
