My experience has been excellent. We've had our ups & downs. I have become a better skilled employee and the company has become a better employer. In order for an employee to love their job the employer has to love the employees. Nothing good comes from a place people hate to work.
What makes you most happy at work?
What makes me the happiest is seeing the aircraft we build flying and knowing that all the long days and weeks put into building that aircraft paid off.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We know that if given the proper tools and materials we can accomplish our goals and that every challenge we encounter and overcome pushes us closer to that goal.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I believe that we are all trying to build the best aircraft we can in my area. We own and learn from our mistakes and try to improve the build process when we can.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have an open door policy and are not afraid to listen to or ask for criticism, opposing views or alternate ideas. Ultimately, they will decide what is best for the company while taking that feedback into consideration. I believe we're all trying to build each aircraft better than the last.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I enjoy the 4 x 10 schedule the most. At work I feel I get a better work rhythm during the longer day. At home the three day weekend is very enjoyable & if at work we need to grind to make up schedule I feel better compensated working overtime & still usually having 1 day a week off for rest.
