You are underpaid, overworked and unappreciated by your District manager and manager. They want let you receive benefits when they don't schedule you or fire you. Every store I've been in to help out the store manager has no clue what their doing and the store I work at the store manager is on drug
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Don't hire someone just so you have a warm body ,and don't hire friends of friends or your friends.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Just put first things first ,customers, they come for product not empty shelves, give managers more hours so they can have employees in store to get products out.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Realizing that some of the things they feel are priority are the least important things, customers want product on shelves and friendly associates to greet and help them. Not self checkouts where no one even watches when they checkout.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The way my DM speaks to us and how I never got my back pay from when my store manager didn't know how to change my pay rate when I was hired, and the fact I tried using my vacation time while I was on leave and no one will approve it. Or atleast let me draw unemployment while I'm not scheduled.
