Great benefits/ perks and coworkers are nice but unless you're in a data position, the company doesn't care about your team nor will they recognize all the work you've done. Creatives are undervalued. The leadership team is not in tune with the times and fails to move progressively forward.

Inform the interviewee who they are meeting with and their position for better understanding

Great employee appreciate events like Happy Hour, Company Holiday Events, Hippo Talks (Guest speakers) and Birthday Lunches.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand and learn from one another. It's not a traditional cutthroat environment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everybody is open to meeting new people in different departments. Great monthly birthday lunches and happy hour for bonding.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Reading the room. There have been many instances where employee concerns were simply brushed off and ignored. They were also slow to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and the BLM movement.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Business structure is outdated and the leadership team is failing to recognize that. They continue with their old ways and this could potentially be their downfall unless they do something about it. They need to focus on other aspects of their business, not just the data-driven teams.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This company highly values results and data however if you're working in a supportive or creative role, there's no recognition nor compensation. They also hire unqualified people in roles that hinder growth and undermine those who have experience. There needs to be a program in place to help.
