They have strong vision and know our business.
More awareness and appreciation (not just verbal compliments, but in compensation and career growth opportunities and training) for my value add.
There is preferential treatment at the company depending on who the department leaders vibe with. A lot of it is personality and personal choices, not based on quality of work. Very clique-like and segregated culture.
The salary levels at the company that are indicative of the job rather than what the employee contributes in terms of value add, workload, and quality of work. Performance based rewards are limited to only senior-top tier level employees and the reward levels are very uneven.
The company recognizes there is room for improvement and is rolling out initiatives to improve culture. However, a few of the most focused initiatives are "check a box" or because it's a strong interest of an executive, not what's most beneficial to the majority of employees.
