Overall, my experience at Medallia has been a positive one. I started working here in the middle of the COVID pandemic and have been able to thrive because of the tools and support that Medallia gives it's employees.

Seeing our customers put what they've learned through using Medallia into action, improving their own customers' and employees' experiences.

There is little-to-no ego or politics across the team. Everyone is striving towards the same goal of making our customers more successful.

My team is extremely collaborative, and there are no politics at play. If it's all in support of helping customers, then go ahead and get it done.

Helping our customers reach their goals of improving the experience of their customers and employees. We are there to help others make a real impact in improving the lives of others.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Work-Life balance can sometimes make compensation feel out of whack. There is also a ton of chatter around stock price without realizing that a large part of the company, especially new hires, do not have equity.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The executive team is very transparent about the health of the business and where their strategic vision lies, which is also clear through the recent acquisitions. I also appreciate their absolute commitment to Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I appreciated that it was very casual and almost more of a conversation. Also, because the company is growing, it was low-pressure and we were able to go as fast or as slow as I wanted to.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culturally, the most positive thing is the attention paid to Diversity and Inclusion. We are truly encouraged and supported to bring our most authentic selves to work. The most positive thing about the environment is the flexibility to work remotely.

Medallia has a big learning culture. There are opportunities with both internal LMS systems as well as through outside 3rd parties to continually educate yourself about both Customer and Employee Experience, and just general life skills. Diversity and Inclusion is also paramount to the culture.

The executive team at Medallia is very transparent and communicative! You get the impression that each and every one of them has a say in the decisions that are being made. I also very much appreciate the diversity in both gender and race across the executive team.
