I started out at an entry level role despite having some significant prior experience, but it was not long before something came open to which I was perfectly suited and I jumped at the opportunity and was hired for the role. The entry-level role paid well and was a great intro to the company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Doing work that I am well suited to by way of education and experience; with opportunities to learn and grow.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Paycom pays well for experience. In addition having health insurance for $1 a week is a major bonus. I also love the $4 lunches catered by restaurants on site.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We like each other. We are all know that the work we do reflects not just on us, but on the team as a whole. We work together to make sure we are in alignment, rowing in the same direction.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Friendly, safe, encourages physical and mental wellness, respects time off, encourages volunteering, offers employee resource groups so employees can "plug" into groups of like-minded people. We have an onsite gym, and a web page just for employees called "My.com" for employee resources.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are ready to fly. The leadership team is aiming high and I really believe the wind is in their sails. They have gained wisdom and are innovative and extremely talented. In addition they are friendly, approachable, genuine and have a "we're all in this together" approach.
