Paycom, like any company, has it's ups and downs. This company has given me so many amazing opportunities, and I've felt supported by EVERY direct leader I've had in multiple departments. It's just tough when C-Levels don't flex with the times, and try to blame it back on them 'building culture'.
What makes you most happy at work?
My direct leader and direct colleague that I partner with almost daily!
What are some of the best things about your team?
The collaboration, the openness, the fun. They're willing to always lend a hand or bounce ideas off of! It's genuine and I think that might be the best part. We all want to see each other succeed!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Hard to say it's positive overall at the company level, but here in my team/department it's exceptional. Again it goes back to our great leadership (in my direct department, again) and the amazing people I work with day-to-day!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's great to work in an environment where I'm eligible for increases based on my performance. I feel as though I'm someone who thrives when I'm credited for the hard work that I do, and I feel that is supported here in my current role.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My own leadership team (speaking to my direct leadership, not C-Level executives) does an AMAZING job being transparent. They are great about controlling what they can control. My direct leader is the most supportive, collaborative, and exceptional person. They truly care and I wouldn't change it!
