My overall experiences has been a string of lows with some good times in the mix. I continuously try to make my way and build a career for myself but simultaneously try to leave. There is always this toxic feeling in the air when times get busy & it makes me feel bad. This company makes me feel bad.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Honestly, I could not tell you.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have each other to lean on when we are drowning in work.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Pay your employees more. Give each team enough resources to create a functional team and not have one or two people drowning in their projects because there is nowhere else to go.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My salary is one of the lowest in my line of work and is actually the lowest average in the district of Fairfield. Be more competitive with salary but also just pay the salary that matches the skills and work that we do here.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There is no excuse to not pay your employees what they deserve and more. Stop making excuses and take action or you will be hiring interns forever and you won't have that "awesome, skilled talent" that you say you look so hard for because you literally fail us every time. Figure it out.
