Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It used to be really nice, but not anymore. I want to learn but the workload and unnecessary processes makes it impossible to focus on important things.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The way we promote continuous learning and improvement.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are accommodating and they promote growth and continuous learning.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My supervisor is very supportive of our willingness to grow and seek opportunities within the company.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My basic used to be so-so but after my promotion as Level 2, I must say I am now satisfied with the way it is going.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are patient and resourceful. They have good work ethics and are always going extra mile but at this point, at the expense of their wellbeing.
What makes you most happy at work?
Our given tasks/projects, it prevents you from feeling stagnant. It gives you direction on where you want to progress given the opportunities being presented to us.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I cannot think of anything at the moment, due to burnout. I do appreciate everything we learn from each other as a team and the support we are receiving from our UK counterparts and leaders.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to align the expectations from different BUs across all regions when they acquire our services and ensure they have enough members to actually meet these expectations. These includes the challenges in every team, turnaround time, schedule.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The leaders seem to be out of touch on how to manage a team supporting an exhibition industry. It will be nice if someone checks the challenges, we will typically encounter in supporting this kind of industry so we can plan ahead.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have a global setup which requires members to support from APAC to US and ensure we are attending to the needs of these regions in a timely manner. Even if we have higher compensation, we cannot be awake and working effectively from APAC to US time zone.
