What are some of the best things about your team?

Really smart people. They know their subject very well and I can always turn to them for advice.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Setting a clear vision, enabling structured career development, increasing salary, and increasing transparency of what is happening for the future of the company.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Provide transparency from the top. Where is the company going? Why are we acquiring so many firms each year? There will be endless integration pains. Provide a visible and clear road to growth and reward employees with growth to keep them motivated.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The same role in other companies make 1.5-2x what I make and the amount of work involved to be just average in my position is not sustainable. Hence the turnover. Please look at the retention stats for people in my team/org this year. A structured road to career advancement and salary raises.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Sales process doesn't work. There are data issues on a daily basis. We operate more waterfall than agile. We can't make the hard decisions not to let the highest paying client dictate what we build. The goal should be client retention across the board. It's more costly to acquire new clients.
