I am very proud to be apart of a team who genuinely cares. When working in pediatrics it teaches you far beyond patient care. You cannot help but to become invested. We see struggling families and we help in everyway outside our scope to provide excellent care. Our children are our future.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers. Makes my day far pleasant.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We hold many positions in pediatrics. We are not just a nurse or just a medical assistant. We are reception, benefits coordinator, care coordinator, mediator, the direct line between our patients and provider. My staff and I go above and beyond what our wages reflect.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are all dedicated to patient care. We all care. We all are dedicated to providing the upmost care to the community. We communicate really well with our patients and their families. I work in pediatrics and we are Foster Care of Excellence. I AM PROUD!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Dr. Schwab is a very knowledgeable and compassionate woman. She is very dedicated and ambitious which in-turn makes me want to give 100% in patient care as well. She is incredibly approachable and is willing to fight for our needs in our clinic to the best of her ability.
What are some of the best things about your team?
TEAMWORK! We help each other significantly. We are open and honest with each other. We are invested in each others lives and we work really well together. There is never a time where I am working alone or doing patient care by myself. We are constantly in motion and the work flow is smooth.
