Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Like anywhere, there are negatives, but overall WFS has provided a great work environment and we are working in a niche that has a lot of room for growth. We transitioned well to working remotely and have found great spots to be more efficient working through the pandemic.

What makes you most happy at work?

I am happy when I am solving problems and helping people.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My group's leadership chain shows transparency, communicates well, values me as an individual and empowers me to own my role.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I enjoy working for WFS, but believe I am below par for similar role / size / industry pay rate.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team has a great sense of ownership of our area. We are great at stepping up and taking on new responsibilities and everyone seems to really want WFS to succeed.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all genuinely want each other to succeed. We are able to connect about both work and non-work-related topics. There is a general comradery that helps propel us toward our goals.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Provide good amounts of detail. Seek to align around the direction of the company. I can see them trying to balance employee well-being against the stress and demands of a VC-backed Board.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The positive culture I experience is 100% as a result of my direct manager and team mates. I do not feel like the overall culture is consistent across the board. Culture should be consistent from the top down. The pockets of goodness are a result of individual good managers/teams.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I think a larger focus on making this place an amazing spot to work would have improve our ability to go after our goals. The pockets of goodness that we have seem to be the result of well meaning individuals/managers and very grass roots as opposed to it being threaded into WFS' DNA.
