It has its ups and down, but I really do like my job.
What makes you most happy at work?
I really enjoy checking, and some of my best friends are coworkers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all have like these unspoken common feelings about certain things or customer interactions. We all just really gel together really well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love being front end. We all joke about stuff together, but we all get our stuff done and help each other out if need be.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I've been with the company over a year so I earn holiday pay now. The new union contract allows me to make double time, so I'm sitting pretty.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The management in my department is good with discipline when needed but also approachability for lower level employees, meaning I'm comfortable with them but there is still a level of respect.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Well, the hiring manager decided to take a vacation (no, it wasn't medical leave, it was a week trip to Vegas or something) just after posting the hiring notice. So, I had to come back once or twice, but she pretty much hired me on the spot after that.
