What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Because we have been in this transition with Vons, there is a constant disconnect with upper management when it comes to policy issues whether with office staff or labor. Mostly in the area of discipline. Very inconsistent.

Change ownership Cerberus is only about piles of money for themselves and poor customer service lake of associate help via ciuting labor . Poor I stick conditions duee to overly tight inventory levels. Leading to out of stocks .

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The 401k program match and the health benefits are amazing and the fact that we are more non-union than Kroger here in NM

Highest levels of management is top notch. Once you get into some division leadership it goes down. Mostly from the Safeway side.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company should match with our 401K. Earning a bonus is very difficult now compared to 2004. There were many more insentives to be a manager. Now, not so much. I’ve worked for the company for a long time and remember when things were much better.

Pay rate is close to lowest in area, we were near the top. Wage increase levels are lower and lower each year

my team are very helpful they always work together and get stuff done in a timely manner.

The are great executors if the plan and all understand food safety and are excellent sales people that treat our guests as if they are visiting our home.

My coworkers from the Vons side both in the office and on the labor side seem to have a problem with just coming to work consistently.

The new upper management sets sales and profit goals that are not achievable . Store management has not received bonuses in three years . Wait we did receive a putty bonus of $500 last year
