What is the best part about your compensation package?The compensation is very poor on the Hill.
What are some of the best things about your team?My team is great, but working on the Hill is a thankless job.
What makes you most happy at work?I feel i do make a difference at my work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Congressional staffers do not typically get paid equivalent to private sector employees, that is why many leave.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Organization and communication, they could also delegate projects better.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?The environment isn't great. There really is no HR team.
Our aim is to giving the people of Connecticut the security and dignity of a steady paycheck.
