84 Lumber Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

I liked how i was given the ability to explain my background and what i was looking forward to learning in the company

Explained everything about the job and details that goes with it

It was quick and to the point

Open and comfortable didnt feel pressure

Quick but accurate job description was not given

They were very personable and shared the vision of their future plans for growth

The recruiter was nice and knowledgeable

Met one on one with the manager and it was very informal.

It was relaxed and i could be myself

Review from Sales Dept

The fact that the job is offered on the spot.

Good feedback. Careful about imparting the requirements and expectations of the position

Area manager sat down with me on the 2nd round

There wasnt much to like or dislike when i was tossed around before actually getting tbe job.

I felt welcomed and was assured my hard work would be appreciated. I wasn’t aware that we were all treated the same regardless of work ethi

Manager told me he never minds coming to work

Review from Sales Dept

It was more of a meeting not an interview. My talents were already known to the folks interviewing me

It was very open and answered all questions I had

Review from Sales Dept

Interview was fairly simple, it didn't seem stressful.

Review from Operations Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Takes too long, weeks to get answers

How about puttimg correct job description on indeed . Make sute the job desciption lets people lnow this os not really an office job and they have to be able to lift heavy stuff

It's more water cooler talk than job specifics

Review from Sales Dept

Less stressful and more positive

More information needed and not jumping to "conclusions

Better background checks not just hiring body to fill the position

Making sure that the new hires have goals and are not just cruising by.

They are desperate they hire the first warm body that walks through the door

Review from Operations Dept

Stop the lies about future compensation and benefits. I was informed that evaluations and raises go hand in hand, but that is far from the truth.
