Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I literally do 3 people's jobs and get paid for one person's job. If the merit pay system were more than a max of 50 cents a year and more like up to $2.50 a year, high skill employees would give more and be willing to stay.

We don't have a team. It's all the GM's friends

The ability to go home after each shift.

Nobody is overly pushy, and willing to help

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
We need corporate H.R. to come in and get us a new GM to start. There is no morale at the job. Nobody cares any more.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management is clueless and self obsessed. Some are in relationships with each other which creates a highly unethical system. Some management members are rude and simply don't care about their fellow humans. Fix the company by investigating and removing bad management.
