There's a take it when you need it policy for vacation and sick time and people do actually use it and management is pretty great about it. Work life balance is great too.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salaries are below industry standards. No matching 401k.

My only real complaint about benefits is the lack of 401k matching. Having been at Acquia a while, I can see the impact in my retirement savings.

Constantly putting out fires. No time allowed to proactively plan ahead and fix things before they break again. Too focused on the quick fix

Acquia needs to improve its overall approach to interviewing software engineers. The result is some engineers titles are over/under-inflated and this isn't realized until later. We do a good job with culture fit, though, so they're all great people and it tends to work out in the end.
