Aetna Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The benefits. I feel like we get a good amount of PTO, and we can use it before we earn it, which is a great benefit. The company is also very supportive if we need to take time off for medical reasons.

Getting paid every two weeks.

Higher than industry average but you earn every penny

The cash options are very fair.

Basic salary and medical benefits

Annual bonus and raise opportunities that arent just 0.5% or 1%. They are usually more significant.

The heathcare is affordable and reasonable

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I would feel more valued as an employee regarding my compensation if it were more reflective of the company's yearly earnings.

I feel like the company as a whole, CVS Health, earns massive profits each year that they could use to pay us a higher hourly wage, making me feel more valued as an individual employee for the work I put in each day. While they do offer a high match for 401(k), the benefits could always be better.

Pay better for the amount of work and stress you go through

An higher pay fir the extensive amount of work

We literally still have to pay a $2000 deductible before we get any coverage from the health plan. At the least they could have mapped out a plan with copays for their own employees.

Yes I feel undervalued with my many years of experience in the industry

Review from Admin Dept

This company makes you feel like you are never doing your job to standard, when we are met with policy changes weekly and have to learn them, only to havecthem change again. The low pay does not outweigh the stress this job creates.

better more proper training, setting people up for success.

Bad health care benefits, ok equity

There is little to no career development and top executives make huge amounts of money whereas that falls of precipitously.

No encouragement or employee involvement on changes.

I don't belief any CEO or Executive team is worth north of 20,000% compared to the salary of its average employees.

Review from Finance Dept

Pay me for the actual work load. Not like im a teenager working at a grocery store..

Only cost of living raises for the last 11 years I was there, they averaged .5%-2% please check yearly inflation rates to get the joke. Price of benefits exceeded increase in "raise"

Yes, work both medicare and commerical cases initial and concurrent reviews

Review from Customer Success Dept

HIGH deductible whilw paying so much per month in premium. Stupid wellness programs, just give cheaper insurance or lower the premiums. No sick time bank, taken out of pto balance even if state mandated sick time.

Pay me the equitable amount or more since the benefits are bottom of the barrel for a fortune 4 company.

comparable roles are NOT paid the same and mgmt refuses to address these inequities.

Base compensation more on performance

Comparable salary for market. No high deductible helath plans.
